Riding

I've realized that I truly miss horseback riding. It has been my life since 3rd grade. I started doing it competitively and it was truly amazing. My dream would have been completing in the Olympics, but sadly it cost a lot of money to compete and affording a trainer good enough to get you prepared for what you want to do... and my family doesn't have that much money to do that. I could always get a sponsor but to get noticed you have to go to all the shows and those cost A LOT of money...

I had to give my horse away in May because I was going to go to college. I miss her so much; I've owned her since 6th grade. I mean I could go out and see her whenever I want, but it's very hard to see her...she has lost a lot of weight because she is roaming 500 acres of land, and she has scratches all over her... I mean she's still healthy, but she's not pampered like she used to be. I just really miss riding, and hopefully I can get back into it. It was more than a hobby to me... it was my life, my passion... what truly made me happy... One day I'll compete again :-)

here are some pictures of my horse and I :-) enjoy!!

Track 21

So Saturday night I ended up going to Track 21 with Chris, and oh my goodness it was so much fun! I was a little nervous because I wasn't used to how fast to karts went or the track >.< so I didn't do so well... BUT I know next time I go I will go a lot better... I just can't be afraid of crashing into the sides of the walls!!! haha But as I said in my last entry, track 21 is a go kart place... it's $20 for a 10 min. race! it's pretty crazy, but it's def. worth it. I had to wear a helmat and everything :-)

The next morning and a day or so after, I was actually really sore! The racing actually was a really good work out :-) My abs were sore as well as my arms and back lol. I was pretty excited... it just never really occured to me that go karts would be a decent work out! but anyway that was my fun experience with go karts... and hopefully I can go again sometime soon... and not wait 5 years to get in another go kart :-P

Weekend

So I decided to come home this weekend for Easter. It almost bums me out that I didn't come home Friday, because then I could have gone to the rodeo! But oh well. I'm looking forward to Easter. I get to see family I rarely see, and my little cousin get's do search for easter eggs! :-) I'm pretty excited, I'm not exactly sure why, but I am...haha

For this weekend though, I got into town this morning and the I took a nice long nap :-) after that I dropped off a package, picked up some sheet music, and then came home to work on some accounting... but now I am waiting on my friend Chris to come pick me up. We are either going to go to Track 21 to ride some super fast go karts, or go to main event and bowl and play pool and what not :-) either way it should be a fun night... I'm excited :-D

Friday Night

So it's Friday night and I had an offer to go to the rodeo in Houston...the seat would have been in the suits where EVERYTHING is free... I was so tempting in just packing my bags and going, but for some odd reason I didn't? I almost wish I would have, but I guess it would have been a fairly stupid thing to do since Houston is about 2 1/2 hours away! haha

But since I decided not to go, I'm sitting in my dorm wondering what I'm going to do for the rest of the night. I'm most certainly ready to get out and do something but I'm just not sure what it is yet. I guess I better start calling up some people to see what's going on tonight and figure out what I'm doing! :-)

Sick

So I really don't feel well... I know I'm sick... I just want to lay in bed, and do NOTHING... however, my mom really wants me to go out with her and buy me jeans and stuff! That would be pretty amazing, but honestly right now, I just want to sit and do nothing... maybe catch up on some homeword. I know that I'm going to out with her, but I'm just really loving not doing ANYTHING for once.

Other than that, I'm sure this is what my Spring Break is going to be like... Just relaxing at my house. I know that doesn't sound like much fun, but honestly I believe this is what I need. I have stressed myself out so much about everything I lost my passions and my drive. Now I can relax, regather my thoughts, and honestly I already my passions back and my drive back. I want to finish up my homework this break, and I want to ride again, and I've been practicing my cello pretty much non stop... it's pretty amazing... Being at home also allows me to catch up with my parents... It's been awhile since I actually stayed home and hung out with them. It's nice.

Lessons Learned

Have you ever just wondered why things happen and why you do the things you do. Some people will say that you have control over everything that you do, but what about if what you do is because you are depressed, hurt, angry, and that was caused by someone else? Does it still mean that it was your decision completly or was it just bad judgement because you weren't in a good mindset...

I know the person who I am. I know I am a really good, honest person, but have been hurt a lot by various things. And because of that, I have done some pretty stupid things, and hurt a lot of people... I don't want to say that's the person who I am, because I know the reasons why I did the things I did, and it was because of the pain people caused me... I guess since I'm aware of that now, I can change how I do things and not let those people control me anymore, but it's just hard because I've seen how much wrong I've done, and I hate that about myself. However, I can't change the things I did, nor can I change what people have done with me, so I guess I can just change how I do things now, and that will shape my future... I just need to figure out how to forgive myself for the stupid things I did...

Concert

So my parents came to San Marcos Sunday for my Orchestra concert. It was really nice getting to see them. We went to eat, and talked for a while. And then went to get coffee... :-) I had to be at a sectional at 1:15 though, so I had to cut hangout with them for a little. But it was ok, the cello section was in need of a sectional, since the principle cellist has been out sick for a good week or more.

The concert went pretty well. I'm glad it's over. I didn't really like the pieces we were playing all that much. But it's ok, they weren't horrible. But I'm just looking forward to our next concert on April 20th. We are playing really good pieces so I'm pretty excited.

But I guess I should stop writing here and start reading Hamlet or maybe my Phil... :-)

my weekend

So I went home this weekend, and it was very odd actually. I studied a lot, and got a lot done. However, my parents didn't know was home, so I was staying with my best friend Eliza. We had a lot of fun, and we needed to catch up. But on Saturday I believe, i was leaving her house to drive to a coffee place to study, and I realized I needed gas, so I was going to stop off at the bank. However, I pretty much ran out before I reached the bank, so I stopped off at the closest gas station hoping to find enough money so i could be able to reach the bank... I went into the gas station, and I guess this guy could tell I was in a little need to help, so he said that he would pay for the gas! I was so relieved and thankful! I mean this guy seemed a little out of it, maybe even on drugs... BUT it was still exteremly nice of him to do that...

When I was filling up, this other guy pulled up in his car, and asked me if everything was alright. He saw saw what happened and he wanted to make sure I was ok. He's then asked if i needed anything... anything at all. I said no. We then started small talk, and he mentioned that strange things happen in Houston. I asked where he was from, and he said that he played for the Patriots, but was just traded to the Texans...!!! He's like if you ever need anything, give me a call, and we can go out for lunch or dinner or anything... I was like oh my gosh... I wonder if this guy is really telling me truth, I mean he was in a really nice car, but that doesn't mean anything...but anyway, I found that pretty cool

So that was my interesting weekend... I'll write the other blog tomorrow... :-)
